Notes to drivers:
Sunset is a one way street. You can only enter from Commonwealth and exit onto King. If you are headed towards the river on King Street, you can not turn left onto Commonwealth. If you are coming from the river on King Street, turn right onto Commonwealth (just before the train bridge over King) and make a wide U turn around the median when you can. That should be Cedar and Sunset will be just a little ways back towards King on your right. Our house (number 17) is on the left about 8 houses in from the corner.

From the Beltway, take the Telegraph Road exit towards Duke Street and Downtown Alexandria (north); take Duke Street towards Downtown Alexandria and Old Town (east -- the first Duke Street exit). Turn left on Callahan Drive (at the top of the hill, just before you cross the railroad tracks); cross King Steet and you will be on Russell Road. Take the first right (onto Cedar), the next right (onto Commonwealth) and veer to the right onto Sunset Drive. Our house (number 17) is on the left about 8 houses in from the corner.

From 66, take exit 75 to 110 south and follow the signs to Rt 1 south. Go through Crystal City and past the Potomac Yard shopping center. Turn right before crossing the railroad tracks onto Monroe Ave. Stay on Monroe across Mt. Vernon (1 light) and turn left onto Commonwealth (the second light). After about 15 blocks, look for Sunset to veer off to the right. Our house (number 17) is on the left about 8 houses in from the corner.

From Metro, take the Yellow or Blue lines to King street station, turn left leaving the station, cross King street and turn left on the the far side of the street (but stay on King Street heading away from Old Town). Go under the bridge and turn right onto Sunset. Our house (number 17) is about 8 houses down on the right.

From Amtrak, get off at the Alexandria station, turn right leaving the the station, cross King Street and enter Sunset Drive (just to the right of Russel Road). Our house (number 17) is about 8 houses down on the right.
