Georgia Green charted this family tree and her daughter Julie sent it along for posting here. Most pages have a couple in the left column and their kids and grand kids in the next two columns. To fit everyone on, many sets continue on multiple pages. To help with navigation, I've added the names from the left column next to each page (and maybe some additional notes).

Notes:
From Julie Miller [Judy Alice Green Miller]: By the way, John David Jones (p.9) was our beloved grandfather. One person in the family felt sure that he passed away in November 1960, but his death certificate and all other records say March 21, 1960. so i go with March 21, 1960. probably not that important after all these years, but anyway, 1960. he died at our parents' house in South Clinton. The information in all of the charts came from Sarah's mother, Georgia Jones Green. (Georgia also passed along written information left behind by Sarah's father, James Frederick Green). The charts about Sarah's mother's mother's family are in the handwriting of Sarah's sister Betty Gardner-Tuzzolino [Betty Anne Green Gardner]. The one about Tennie was written by me, Sarah's sister Julie Miller. All of the other charts were drawn and written by Sarah's mother, Georgia Green. I am impressed that she could keep up with all of that information, organize it, and get it down on paper. update 3/31/17Helen Williams passed along this addition to take it back a generation: James A Johnston married Elizabeth Steward in 1850; they had a daughter named Josephine Johnston (incorrectly listed as Josephine Johnson on a reading of a marrige license), who had a son named John David Jones. who had a daughter named Georgia Jones, who married Fred Green and had three daughters, one of them named Sarah Belle Green, who married Wyman Loren Williams Jr and had three sons..... Website notes:There are three version of each scan available: the small versions on this page (for example sm_img036.jpg); larger versions for on-line viewing (for example img036.jpg), and the original scan version. To see the original scan version, add "big_" to the file name (for example big_img036.jpg), Also, all the original versions are in this one zip file. You may also be interested in the audio interview Sarah Green Williams conducted with Georgia Green; many of these family members come up in that interview. The four parts are linked from the bottom of The Green Side of the Family. | |
