Lasers and laser-based experiments, this one from Georgia Tech, were also prevalent. | |
And Konnex had a huge space. Not surprisingly, you could purchase Konnex sets and I think they were even set up to sell by the piece should you decide to take your creation home with you (we chose not to). It's cool, but someone else can play with it. | |
There was shipyard / dry-dock and test ocean for your creations: How much ballast do you need? One mast or two? How to attach a keel? | |
And idols Mike Rowe (Dirty Jobs) and David Pogue (Nova: Making Stuff...) were there. David Pogue was even signing books... | |
