Sarah and Robert took a quick trip up to New Jersey to visit Grandpa and La Nona. I was staying away from them on doctor's order as part of my treatment for strep throat. They had a good time; it wasn't clear from the story I heard who had the better time grocery shopping: Robert riding in car shaped cart or Harry pushing him up and down the aisles. | ||||||||
The next weekend, we all went to Burke Lake Park to ride the train and carousel. Robert was enthralled for the entire train ride. | ||||||||
Clearly, we all had a great fun at the park. | ||||||||
Then on Tuesday, Sarah took Robert to the office in the morning while I went in for a follow-up doctors appointment. It was pretty hot and steamy so when I picked him up, midway through a meeting discussing how well covered Boomers are in terms of annuities, we headed over to the Building Museum. A big, carpet covered, air conditioned space to run around in. And they have "Builder's Zone" with toys for kids... | ||||||||
