Metro Washington February weather can be pretty much anything. We started the month with snow but we also had some glorious weather, which Robert had a chance to enjoy. One of the lesser known Alexandria parks is the African American Heritage Park, which happens to be a couple blocks from our house.
On the way to the park, Robert was checking progress at our soon to open walkable grocery store. He's still a little young to get really excited by the construction equipment, but we expect that will come.
And of course, we have the little park on the corner -- which seems plenty big to Robert, who has a great time in the swing.
After getting his 6 month shots, Robert was a little fussy, but mostly interested in napping. He was running a slight fever. But still very cute.
We all went to the Blue Park to see if the snow had melted off the swings and it had! Sarah and Robert were none too sure
about the nosy squirrel that expected a snack from Roberts stroller. But, being so close to home, we didn't have anything
and the squirrel moved on to check the next stroller. (Yes, Robert does have a couple different red coats.)
And to close out February, note the new tub. Robert has outgrown the sink (he did that a good while back) and his blue plastic tub. He's now styling in his new inflatable tub. Also note how much he enjoys the water. He still has a couple sessions in the pool and we expect to sign him up for more pool classes.
