Robert got to see his first snow storm in late January. He seemed to enjoy watching the sky fall, but it was very cold and so we didn't want to take him off the porch. His grandparents happened to be visiting (from the snowy mountains of North Carolina -- not much of a weather break for them). So Robert's grandmother was supervising the photos to make sure he didn't get too cold.
And it was the first fire in our fireplace for Robert. He was intrigued but also entertained by his grandparents. And for his 6 month birthday: solid food; his grandmother says he did great, but Sarah and I don't think he actually ate much. But that's to be expected. And solid is in the eye of the beholder: oatmeal cereal seems less than solid to me.
Robert has a tendancy to sleep on his strolls around the neighborhood. Even when it's chilly and the view, for an urban one, is pretty nice.
