It's blueberry season again at Butler's Orchard.
This time we brought along Romeo and his cousin Lisa; she's visiting for a couple of weeks to help
out with Romeo's new baby brother, Miles. There was a very nice breeze on this warm day. We started
out with a short tractor ride from the parking lot to the blueberry bushes.

The last time we picked blueberries, we were sure we were coming home with way too many to
possibly eat. But they only lasted a couple of days. So we worked a little harder this time.
At least the adults did, the boys picked a fair amount but were almost as interested in the
tractor bringing new pickers to the bushes and taking others back.

As has become habit, the two boys got along very well. And they both seemed to have a good time
picking, eating and looking around. After the blueberries and a quick snack, we stopped off
at the sweet cherry trees on our way out. They were also very tasty and topped off our tummies
for the trip back to Alexandria.
