We took advantage of having a free Monday to head up to Baltimore to the ever popular
National Aquarium. It was really nice to be there on a weekday when
it was less crowded. We could take all the time we wanted to check things out (and the sharks had lots
of time to check us out).

I'm not sure there is much more to say about the aquarium. We have photos from a trip last
June and with Steve, Helen and Aaron in July of 2006.
It's just a fun place to visit, very well laid out and very big.

Robert liked watching the fish swim by, but he also really liked the big ramp that winds down the three floors of tank.
And I must confess: I liked playing with the new focusing screen and lens for my camera -- even though it's really dark
in the aquarium. Sarah, of course, really loves watching the fish swim around; I'm not sure if she or Robert is the
bigger fan.

The Amazon space is a nice change, a little steamy and brighter. And the birds are still there, though it looked
like nap time for the parrots.

The dolphin show was fun, as always. I don't remember the jump over the big blue ball or the frog getting a ride
from our previous visits. Makes you wonder about the jobs of dolphin and dolphin trainer -- thinking up new fun things
to show the crowds.

Clearly, another place we'll come back to.
