Last Easter we went to Romeo's house for a big egg hunt. This year, with Romeo expecting a brother or sister this summer, he brought his mom and dad over to our house for an egg hunt. Robert and Romeo did a pretty good job finding the eggs (we hope) before they gave in to the allure of the sand box.
Eventually, the sand box won out and the boys had a good time (even though it was a bit chilly) enjoying the sunshine.
After a break for some chocolate, jelly beans and something vaguely healthy, Robert introduced Romeo to the double-decker playground (according to Google, "Potomac View" park).
While it was a nice day and there were a fair number of kids in the playground, it didn't seem crowded all. Robert and Romeo were able to play on the jungle gym and slides and in the tunnels and pretend to be baby crocodiles and penguins. Generally having lots of fun.
And the adults had some time to chat (and pass along some more cheese sandwich bites to the kids).
After a quick trip home, we headed over to Hank and Sally's for Easter dinner with Hanks parents. It was a fantastic feast (and the Easter bunny even hid some eggs there for Robert to find -- which the adults were happy to hide again when he wasn't looking). A very lovely Easter for the Williams-Zapolsky clan. And Marjatta sent over a couple of photos from the day:
