It was such a nice day, getting outside was clearly the right thing to do. But Robert needed a quick visit with
the doctors to rule out strep throat. So we opted for a visit back to our favorite local farm:
Oxon Hill Farm. It continues to amaze me that this farm
is so close by -- notice the plane on approach to National Airport with Alexandria in the background.
This time, we met Sue and her son Evan there. They guys seemed to have a good time.

Sue was thinking the chickens should be out enjoying the sun rather than staying the shade. Then one of the
rangers (the farm is a national park), pointed out that an eagle was flying overhead. The chickens were
just being smart. I guess if we're going to see eagles there, I may have to start bringing a tripod with me --
the birds were pretty high up. It looked like the hawk was chasing the eagle away, but it was kind of hard to tell.

We forgot it was a school day until we noticed the tour of kids running around. They looked like they had a good time too.
I think they timed their trip for the cow milking -- we were a bit late for that. But Robert and Evan had a fine
time looking at the animals and playing around outside.

The wagon was so much fun, it was hard to entice either of the boys to feed the horses. But Sarah was happy to hold
out a handful of grass -- which was appreciated.

It really is a fun place and the company made it an extra special afternoon. I expect we'll continue to visit and I hope
we continue to entice Sue and Evan to join us (or be enticed by them).
