Did I mention that Sally really enjoyed her cousin? And that Robert really had a great time learning new tricks from his cousins, like how to play Uno
(again, something he's not yet mastered).
|
And the house was great fun just to hang out in. Here David is getting ready to take a couple photos while Aaron and Helen are climbing up to the
penalty box (the loft above the living room) while Loren and Robert hang out together.

Robert's Aunt Susan (on the left) gave him a really cool Santa outfit. Sarah really liked the (Christmas) goose decoys outside the house next door. Robert is still working
on mastering the sitting up by himself trick so the photo is not quite all it should be -- and he's sure to out grow the suit by next year. But we'll
find more embarrassing photos to take of him in his Santa suit....

The Thanksgiving meal began with hors d'oeuvres (and the uncorking of the Big Horn Cabernet Sauvignon, which might account for the blurriness of this photo).
|
|
And Susan had the great idea to cover the Thanksgiving table with butcher paper to allow everyone to decorate their spot. She, of course, was really into it and
had a lot of fun, before, during and after dinner with it.
|
The house was lovely (in case I forgot to mention it). And Robert enjoyed some time in the swing on his private porch.

You had to be there; it's too hard to explain why there are frogs on the ceiling fan.

Loren and Robert had a good time reading together.

The greater Williams clan: Loren and Sarah in the front row (still holding hands after 50 years of marriage -- a great example to all the rest of us), Helen and
Aaron on their left. Kate and Sally in the middle (Sally in her signature pink). And in the back row, left to right: Steve, Loren, Sam (he might be taller than
David), Robert, Susan, David and Sarah.

The sound side of Ocracoke is a nice place to be: our house was across the street from the "real" beach houses, but we had our own dock on the canal
behind the house (too far a drop into too shallow water for a kayak put in however, and no ladder to get out; we just carried the boats a couple doors down
to the boat ramp.

Aunt Susan and Robert doing the same.
There are a few more photos (the chemical, as opposed to the digital) on page 3.
