We're still working on the proper technique for using the Blu Track
on the stairs. We discovered today that more tension helps a lot, now we have get the loops properly weighted
so we can keep the tension when there's a loop in the track. It's a fun way to start the day.

After cleaning up the track and cars, we headed in to the Kennedy Center for the
Open House. Sarah heard about it from
Sally and the box city exceeded any expectations I had. Thousands of cardboard boxes and a big open space equals
lots of fun! OK, Robert (and the rest of the kids) had a good time too. Sarah was a little worried when one of
the towers came down on top of her -- but the boxes are empty so it's just startling.

There was lots more at the Open House than box city, but we had a hard time getting Robert away from the boxes.
We did manage to catch Nomad, the aerialist. He was very impressive. I know it makes lots of sense, but
the carefully rigged, redundant, locking carabiners seemed in conflict to dangling from the cloth by his ankles.

It was cloudy and cool but that really made it all the better -- not too hot and maybe not quite as many folks as
might have otherwise turned out. I hope we hear about this next year.
