Home again from Christmas

We had great trip to Decatur for Christmas, managed to see all the Williams clan and even have dinner with Martha on the way home. Lot’s more photos in the vacations section.

Winter Festival

Robert and his class sang The Lights of Hanukkah and Silent Night in the school’s Holiday show today. Now we’re done with school in 2014!

And yes, he decided on the shirt an tie on his own.

The Dapper Salesman

After getting dressed up for the wedding recently, Robert had the excellent idea to dress up for his turn as salesman for the school’s annual Maya sale. They sell handcrafts to help support the Maya and introduce the social studies section on that culture.

Happy Birthday!!!

Robert and Sarah took me out to Los Tios for our traditional birthday dinner. I got to wear the hat this time! It was a nice, mellow birthday — hard to compete with having a snow day off like last year.

Florida Trip

Legoland!!!

Is that not the picture of a happy boy?

We stopped at Legoland on our way to Marco Island for Nick and Trish’s wedding. It was a great time, lots of fun and more time that we were able to spend with the full Zapolsky clan in forever.

Besides Legoland (which may be Robert’s highlight — but it’s hard to tell), we had fun at the beach, checked out the alligators and celebrated a great wedding on a great day. CONGRATULATIONS Nick and Trish.

More photos later but I had to share both the before…

… and the after. You can’t visit Legoland and not pick up a set or two (or 6, but we were buying for friends…)
