Runnin’ Gates
We took advantage of the great weather to grab the boats and get on the river. I don’t know how much longer Robert will be able to share a whitewater cockpit — but he seemed to be having a good time playing in the gates and eating his snack.

Indeed you are correct sir
And I credited you in the page where I mention my misguided belief that we were looking at a Kingfisher -- which just sounds cool. Although, black-crowned Night Heron is also catchy in its own way.
